Anny Batamuriza (Director General)
AboutUS01Anny is our expert for hospitality and event management. A Uganda-born Rwandese, she has studied at a hospitality school in Luzern (Switzerland), before engaging herself with Rwanda's tourism industry and the country's leading hotels. Among others, she is responsible for much of the training that the employees at the receptions of the Rwandan Serena hotels have enjoyed. Until early 2009, she held a position as Executive Director of Housekeeping at the Kigali Serena Hotel. Since then, she has joined NDA full-time to lead our operations.

Isaac Shumbusho (Event & Project consultant)
AboutUs02Isaac is a Rwandan born national that followed the business option at the respected University of Rwanda in Butare where he obtained a Bachelor in Business administration. Before joining NDA, he served as deputy mayor in charge of economic finance in Nyarugenge district, Kigali city from 2001 to 2006.He later went on to serve as project manager for the global fund round 7.Isaac is an enthusiastic individual with indepth knowledge of Rwanda as well as Kigali city .

Florence Kabanyana (Event & Tour Consultant)

A Uganda-born Rwandese, Florence enjoyed the education systems of both countries and obtained a certificate in Human Science. She later trained and worked in the hospitality industry as Front Desk Supervisor at the Intercontinental Hotel in Kigali and the Kivu Sun Hotel in Gisenyi, the two hotels that are now part of the Serena chain. In 2005, she joined one of Rwanda's leading tour operators, Primate Safaris, to work as a tour guide, before gaining experience in the NGO world with the American organization Women for Women International in Kigali. Today, Florence is charming our clients for events and tour programs.

Richard Rwabutogo (Driver-Guide)

Richard is another Uganda-born Rwandese who completed his secondary school as well as a teacher training in Uganda. After having worked as a primary school teacher for several years, he participated in a variety of research courses in 2002 and 2003 that allowed him to work for the research company Direct Marketing Concepts in Kigali. He gained experience in the hotel industry as the Head Waiter at the Intercontinental Hotel in Kigali (now Kigali Serena Hotel) and then changed his position to driver-guide at the Serena Hotel. Today, Richard is our most responsible driver-guide, and he is making great efforts to further diversify his knowledge and guiding skills.

Aron Carter(Event consultant)
AboutUs03Holding a Tour guiding and administration diploma from Utali college in nairobi,Kenya where he further gained her expertise in Hospitality service and Event management serving in Global holidays and incentives Kenya and later at the Kigali serena Hosting a variety of events.The youngest of the NDA team carter has a distinguished sense of hospitality. Development. In his free time, he supports our work as Management Advisor.
