Project excursions in Rwanda - Humure
The
Humure experience is an introduction to the plight of a refugee community with a
very rich history and culture, and very entrepreneurial and hospitable
attitudes. Humure consists of Rwandan returnees who were thrown out of Tanzania
in late 2006 and resettled at the inhospitably dry southern edge of Akagera
National Park. Visitors are invited to participate in the daily lives and
cultural customs. Home stays will also become available soon. |
